You're all going to think I'm a sick person, but I am not making this up.

I tried finding it in the disturbing books community, but I couldn't. It's a book about people who have sex with cows. I thought the title was just Moo, or maybe Cow, but I can't find it. Maybe an author name would help? Pretty sure it was fiction (I hope so). That's all I remember...sex with cows, and some kind of one-word, cow-related title.

We took down Lady D for the first time, and proceeded to take down the Ship battle on our second try. That was a blast!

Part One

Every time I click on one family in particular, the game stays on the loading screen. The music keeps playing and the cursor is still moving. I am still able to move the mouse around the screen. The only way I am able to get rid of the screen is if I just control-alt-delete. All the over families load up with no problem but this family just keeps getting stuck on the load screen. They were in vacation but I forced them to come back home and since then still have not been able to play as them. They are at home but I can not play as them. Has this happened to anyone else?

So today i did it, Got my Resto Druid to 80 (Thanks new LFG thingy)

so now i have a Pally (Holy) @ 80, Priest (Disc) @ 80, Shaman (Resto) @ 80.

am i insane? or do i love Healing way to much? or is anyone else crazy like me?

So, I'm resting and it's wonderful... but it's also making me contemplative.

I just realized the entirety of Hanukkah just went right by me without me noticing. Considering that it's one of the very few Jewish holidays that I actually try to celebrate, I'm kind of disappointed with myself for not paying better attention. Of course, I didn't have time to actually find my menorah among my still-packed boxes and the school's Jewish club didn't send out anything about it, so the chanced of me actually being able to celebrate the thing were slim as it was, but still... I would have still known that it was going on.

And on a similar note, I wasn't lying when I said that I'll bombard people with stuff about me being alone here for Christmas. I couldn't care less about the holiday, really, but it's going to be the first time that I am going to be alone in this apartment for an extended period of time. Considering the neighborhood that I am in, if my neighbors pick up on this fact, I will have trouble.

And in truth, I miss my friends back home. Ayelet (Alon's GF), sent me ALL the episodes of Star-Trek:TNG in this giant pack of CD's and man, did that make me happy. I miss having people who think of me as something more than 'that girl who showed up some months ago and is kind of hanging out where we are'.

I also miss my family, as crazy as they all are. They were always there for me, when I needed them, and now they're very far away. I miss the support and the feeling that I am loved (even if in a weird way), regardless of what I do.

So, what I'm kind of sad about now is that Christmas, when you strip away the insane merchandising and the near fanatic 'feel happy! NOW!' sentiments and religious overtones, is about spending time with people you care about, who in turn care about you.

I won't have that this year, but I suppose I should have known that when I first landed in this alien land.

Ah, well. I'm still alive, and there are things that need to get done. Story of my life.

I recently just got into the Sims 2 (hi! -waves-), and for some reason, when my Sims speak, there's no sound coming out. I see their mouths moving but that's it. I still hear the music, the TV, the sound effects, everything but my Sims talking. And when I expand the cheat menu, it always says that there's an audio failure. I checked the audio settings and turned everything up to maximum, and I've reinstalled many times, it doesn't seem to help, so I think it might be an issue with the CD, like, I'm missing the audio parts, or something. If anyone can help, I would very much appreciate it. It's just a little weird that the only sounds I hear when they're talking on the phone is the footsteps. Thanks in advance!
